- Keep candles away from curtains and bedding.
- Do not put candles in the window.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Keep matches and lighters out of reach from children.
- Make sure candles are out of drafts, vents and away from ceiling fans.
- Blow out candle if the flame burns too close to the container side.
- Do not leave candles unattended.
- Extinguish all candles before going to bed or leaving the house.
- Secure candles in holders made of glass, ceramic or metal.
- Avoid walking while holding a burning candle.
- Do not move a glass container candle when the wax is liquid.
